designer / photographer / video editor / creative director

This project unfolded in two phases, beginning with a small capsule that marked a transitional period for ar*ky*ved — bridging the brand's early identity with a more defined creative direction.

SS25: A New Direction

Developed from thrifted fabric, the capsule revisited familiar silhouettes, including the signature bolero, while introducing design codes rooted in sportswear and the evolving identity of the brand's "sexy tomboy" customer.

The capsule was introduced through a series of printout-inspired product visuals, and highlighted the different ways the pieces could be styled together.

This capsule laid the foundation for the next phase of ar*ky*ved: a new collection of core styles that further established the brand's visual and design language. The launch was brought to life through film photography, a campaign video combining VHS and iPhone footage, and paper ephemera-inspired graphics. Select pieces from the initial striped capsule were carried into the campaign, reinforcing the relationship between past and new designs.

phase 02

Together, these releases represented a milestone in the brand's approach to sustainable design. Rather than creating isolated collections, the goal was to build an interconnected wardrobe of versatile, complementary pieces—encouraging customers to restyle, rewear, and maximize the life of each garment.
